As a response to a series of unprecedented events, NBA commissioner Adam Silver, held an NBA press conference yesterday afternoon. In this press conference, Adam Silver fined Donald Sterling $2.5M (the maximum amount an owner can be fined). Also, he banned Donald Sterling to a lifetime ban of doing business with the LA Clippers and the NBA. Silver further stated that he and the rest of the owners of the NBA would “urge and try” to force Donald Sterling to sell his company, the LA Clippers.
