Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson spoke to the media about his recent frustration and doubts on whether the open armed franchise is still for him. He did not speak on not getting the ball, disagreements with the coach, or off field behavior. He solely spoke on winning!
“I just look at my career … I’ve only been to the playoffs twice.” Johnson told reporters in Houston. “I think we’ve only had three winning seasons. I don’t think any player wants to experience that. I think over time it can become very frustrating and this offseason has been very frustrating for me, beginning of the offseason I should say. That’s just kind of where I’m at right now.”
We do know that Johnson still has a few years left on his contract and with the Texans going into their third coach in five years, they cannot afford to lose another huge player.
