It’s that time again for the NBA draft this year. Throughout the 2013-2014 college basketball season they have labeled this draft as a “game changing” lottery. These critics are exactly right because with many big names coming out this year (Jabari Parker, Andrew Wiggins, Julius Randle etc…) a franchise cannot afford to come out empty handed. During the end of this year’s NBA season, many teams with losing records and no chance of making the playoffs were accused of “tanking” the rest of the season. Though this may ruin the competitive nature of the game, franchises looked at it from a business standpoint and saw it as a way to increase their percentages of being top lottery picks for the 2014 NBA Draft.
These are the draft lottery odds of the first 14 teams to pick in the Draft.
The 2014 NBA draft lottery will be held Tuesday in New York to determine the order of the top three picks in the Jun 26 draft.
