In Centreville high school in Virginia, Juwaan Espinal (17) is known around the school. Though it may not be for his talents in sports or academics, his smile is said to be admired around campus. You see, Juwaan is non-verbal due to cerebral-palsy; a group of disorders that affects the brain and nervous system. And likewise, Juwaan isn’t able to express his feelings in ways most people may be common with. Despite his conditions, one of his friends went above and beyond her way to make Juwaan feel very special before his upcoming Prom. Not only did she ask Juwaan out to prom, she brought Washington Redskin’s quarterback RGIII with her. Though he wasn’t able to say anything, it’s obvious Juwaan was ecstatic to meet his favorite football player and score a prom date at the same time!
