Wow, we don’t think anyone predicted the San Antonio Spurs beating the defending champions in only 5 games, but tonight they did just that! With great coaching from the legendary Gregg Popovich, the veteran Spurs had an easy win over the Miami Heat this year. Though there was much speculation about the Miami Heat making a “3-Peat” run, looks like their road to a creating a three year dynasty was not successful. Congratulations to the Spurs and coaching staff, playing team-ball was definitely shown throughout the Spurs’ playoff tenure. Oh yea, we couldn’t forget about Kawhi Leonard’s great performance during this playoff series. Though he’s only 22, Leonard’s performance gave the Spurs the boost they needed to off-set Miami’s defense. Kawhi Leonard is your 2014 NBA Finals MVP.
