At the tender age of 5, Danny Nickerson of Foxboro , Massachusetts currently fights an inoperable brain tumor. According to 6ABC, Danny was diagnosed with a “chemo-therapy resistant” tumor October of 2013. Moreover, due to his current therapy, Danny Nickerson is no longer able to attend kindergarten, which has resulted in Danny feeling lonely.
According to Danny’s parents, an entity that has cheered the five year old’s spirits up lately has been the acquisition of cards with his name on it.
“”He can recognize his name now,” the boy’s mother Carley Nickerson told ABC News. “When he saw his name on the package from magical fairies on Easter, he was so happy.”
Likewise, because Danny’s birthday is this July 25th, Nickerson’s mother has set up a P.O. Box for people to send personalized birthday letters to keep this tough kid’s spirits up.
