An unfortunate situation has recently occurred due to a young man’s attempt to promote himself via risky pictures on social media. 21 year old Oscar Aguilar was said to have not realized the gun he was snapping a picture with was loaded until matters were too late.

The 21 year was said to have died on the way to a hospital in Mexico City.
With the increase of social media technology, social media users are steadily trying to promote themselves for “likes” or comments. This case is an unfortunate one, but should be used to help raise awareness of what could happen when self-promoting pictures go too far.
