16 year old Alexandria Chery’s body was recently identified as a body recovered in the woods of Osceola County, Florida. The young girl has been missing since monday, July 8th. That monday morning, Alexandria told her mom she wasn’t feeling well in which she stayed at home. After many tries of reaching her daughter, Rosalie Joseph notified police that she couldn’t find Alexandria’s whereabouts. As a result, police started to gather possible evidence and leads to find the young teen.
Sanel Saint Simon (43), the boyfriend of Rosalie, was said to be only person able to be present with Alexandria Chery at the house that monday morning. A used man’s underwear and blood spots in the bathroom, hallway, and bedroom were among the evidence found by local police. This evidence was imperative to find because authorities state that someone intended on covering up the blood spots, most likely Sanel or an acquaintance that he could lead investigators too. Also, police have caught Sanel Saint Simon in a string of lies stemming of his location during the time of this incident. Due to the newly found evidence, Sanel’s bond has risen from $7500 to $500,000.

“During the investigation, Saint Simon told detectives that he was at his job at Boston Market all day Monday, but his employers disputed that claim, saying he left at 9:30 a.m. without clocking out, deputies said. Saint Simon later recanted his story and said he left work early but stayed in a nearby plaza all day.”
This is horrible news to not only read, but report. However, stories like these need to be published to show just how sick and twisted some people can be. It’s unfortunate Alexandria Chery had to suffer so young. We hope her mother, friends and family will somehow be able to grow after their time of healing.
