On Tuesday, officials reported that Maj. Gen. Harold Greene and 14 soldiers lost their lives due to an “inside attack”. According to TIMES, a terrorist wearing an Afghan Army uniform opened fire on U.S. and Afghan soldiers at the Marshal Fahim National Defense University in Kabul.
This comes as very bad news for the U.S. whose lost of 2-star General Harold Greene will make this the highest ranked official death since the Vietnam war. This news will also stir major controversy as many Americans are still wondering why American soldiers are present in Afghanistan.
