A few months ago we reported the notorious terroristic group currently reigning in Iraq named ISIS. Known for their destruction and capturing of Iraqi cities, ISIS has been known to create methods of instilling fear in the public; this time they have gone too far!
The Islamic group ISIS recently released a video showing the beheading of U.S. journalist James Foley who has been missing since 2012. In the video, Foley is seen kneeling, reading a scripted message next to a masked man dressed in black who tells President Barack Obama “to end military operations in Iraq”. ISIS’ “Message to America” is said to be the one of many more heinous crimes if their demands are not met. After he beheads Foley he then threatens to kill another Journalist named Steven Sotloff at the end of the video. ISIS’ release of this video comes at a time where recent U.S. airstrikes have crippled their organization. Cowardly, ISIS now wants to use American Journalist as their way of leveraging a “possible bargain”. Good luck with that!
James Foley disappeared on November 22, 2012, in northwest Syria, where he was forced into a vehicle by gunmen & was never heard from again. At the time of his kidnapping he worked for the U.S.-based online news outlet Global Post. Foley was 40 years old, may his death not be in vain!
