 Who’s to blame?!

As celebrity victims voice their concern of this data breach a result  “of lack of security from Apple’s iCloud”, we unfortunately have to disagree. You see, iCloud’s purpose is solely for computing sharing. Any video, picture, applications and text messages all have the power to be shared on one’s iCloud via an iPhone or Macbook device (Read The Opperating Agreement). Though most people ASSUME company’s will be 100% secure with their respective data, those people are sadly mistaken. Computers have their own language, binary numbers to be exact ( 0’s & 1’s). One should think of the internet as a transfer of binary data in terms of “mirrors”. When one accesses the internet, data has to go through various mediums to transfer the data from your iPhone or computer to a storage server. Likewise, when uploading pictures and videos to one’s device, one should always realize that your data has the potential of being hacked or disclosed unintentionally. Hackers are very skilled and are always finding loop holes in technology to create data breaches, hence the recent hackings of Ebay, American Banks, SnapChat, & Retail Stores!!

Though this breach is unfortunate, it should serve as a wake-up call to phone and computer users everywhere. It’s going to be interesting to see how these next few months unfold, the aforementioned names (on the 101  List) are patiently waiting for a horrible day with their PR team.
