Chaos Chaos is a gifted duo formed by sisters Asy and Chloe Saavedra, 22 and 20 respectively, who hail from Seattle but are currently based in Brooklyn. The twosome pack a subtly potent punch with their enveloping form of synthpop, exemplified in “Breaker”, which washes over you like lying face-up on the sea shore.
“Breaker” comes from Chaos Chaos’ forthcoming EP, Committed To The Crime, and is an enamoring tune more or less about separation, and needing space. “I can’t be what you see, I’m not your fantasy/Let me go,” rings out the hook, as both singers sound a bit frustrated with the people that adore them (too much). Committed To The Crime is out on October 7.
