TALA came onto the scene with her guns blazing in 2014, releasing three phenomenal tracks, each being better than the last. Today, TALA gave us another blistering new song titled “Black Scorpio”. And while it’s still too early to tell, it seems that the London-based singer and producer continues on that upward trend of eye-opening improvement.
“Black Scorpio” is a slithering electronic cut, with writhing synths that contract, expand, then completely open up by the end of the 3+ minute duration. TALA’s voice remains distorted throughout, bouncing off that bombastic bass her sound has quickly become known for, with the only clear lyrics ringing out as “I’m comin’ for ya”. All in all, the song is another powerful reflection of the artist, embodying a bold new sound mixed with an eastern heritage and influence.
TALA has another new forthcoming EP, which will be announced via Aesop in few weeks. Enjoy.
