Last evening, an Alaskan TV reporter made national headlines after quitting her job On-Air when revealing her pursuit of legalizing marijuana. Charlo Greene, who’s professional name is Charlene Egbe, disclosed to the public that she is the owner/CEO of the Alaska Cannabis Club immediately after reporting about the cannabis business and industry on the local news KTVA News station.
–“Everything you’ve heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all my energy toward fighting for freedom and for fairness, which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska,” she said during the late Sunday evening newscast. “And as for this job, well not that I have a choice, but f— it, I quit.”– Charlo Greene
The actions and statement made by Charlene Egbe came as a surprise to her previous colleagues and employer at KTVA News. In fact, the reaction of Greene’s colleague is priceless after witnessing the comments made by Charlene. What do you think about this situation?
