A tragic event occurred last night in Oklahoma after a bus carrying the North Central Texas College Softball team collided with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 35. 3 young women, members of the softball team, were killed at the scene. Another woman later died at a hospital.

While an investigation and toxicology report is pending from both the trailer driver and bus driver, no apparent foul-play has been made in this unfortunate situation. According to ABC News, The North Central Texas Softball team was returning to Gainesville after a scrimmage.

–“What we do know is that the semi (truck) was headed north on I-35 when he departed the roadway and entered the southbound lanes,” Hampton told The Oklahoman ( http://bit.ly/1vo7lIS). “When it impacted the bus, it just kept going and went off the side of road. … We knew we had a two-vehicle accident by what we saw at the scene. … But it took about an hour before we found the semi.”– Via AP
