We love discovering new young creatives, and this week we have Texas-based director Malcolm Minikon. Presented is his most recent project (iSe3en:iWrath), which is a collaborative video with Vivalatina. Producer CLBRTY provided his ‘Rug Rats remix’ for the instrumental, while appearances from numerous young “rebels” around the DFW area came together to compliment this dope visual. The story line follows 2 groups of women, both being social opposites of each other. The girls scare each other and run in opposite directions, resulting in one of the “good” girls falling and going unconscious. The visual continues with her living a bad dream, as she’s captured and brought to an “underworld” of societal outcast. This is what Tina had to say about the video:
“We wanted to make something unique and make a new style that really hasn’t been seen before. We decided to send out a tweet to see who wanted to be apart of the project, so when people replied to it we decided to get really creative. Everyone came from different followings from all over the DFW. Even on the day of shooting, we had no idea what we were getting into because it was something new to all of us. It was a huge attention getter and a great way to network.”
