Located in the heart of Houston, Texas lies one of the cities best kept secrets; the Museum District. A culmination of approximately 20 museums, this district was first formally recognized back in 1989. A few weekends ago, we decided to check out two museums The Contemporary Arts Museum Houston and The Museum of Fine Arts Houston (both located within the Museum District). Checkout some of the art galleries and sculptures we captured below. If you’re ever in the city and are looking for an early weekend move, we highly recommend checking out these two art museums.
