During Oklahoma State’s annual Homecoming Parade, a fatal event took place leaving four dead and 44 injured. Officials have confirmed that 25 year old Adacia Avery Chambers of Stillwater, Oklahoma was drunk driving when she plowed into a crowd of people partaking in the OSU Homecoming Parade. Upon arrival authorities pronounced 3 dead, and 9 critically injured.
These types of incidents are unfortunate because they can/should be prevented by being a responsible driver. In an age like 2015 where Uber, Lift, or Yellow Cab services can be reached via phone apps, drunk driving should never be an option. We pray that for the victims’ family, OSU, and Ms. Adacia Chambers for undergoing this life changing event.
