With just a table stand and an umbrella, Kirkwood “Goldie” Evans began his promising career selling conch salad. As a result of his special recipe, it was quite often longs lines could be seen of various people waiting in line to try Goldie’s  conch salad. Likewise, the promising chef opened up his establishment at the Fish Fry at Arawak Cay.

Today, Goldie’s Conch House is a “must visit” for tourists visiting the Bahamas. The Fish Fry is located in downtown Nassau, which makes it easily accessible for tourist who plan on vacating in the downtown area.  Relatively cheap prices and great food continue to produce a consistent amount of visitors every year for this great restaurant.
