With the Super Bowl right around the corner the National Football League announces its newest project. Earlier today, at a press event held in New York City, they officially introduced their digital network NFL Now, which is said to make its debut in July. NFL Now’s target is to create a personal stream content for each user. The app will include game highlights, games on demand, fantasy league stats, and much more. Despite all its incredible features, live streaming will not be available—well not at first, at least. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell raves on NFL Now as being extremely personalized and customizable claiming that no two users will have the same experience. Best of all, the app is free of charge. However, for those truly committed fans a NFL Now Plus will be available. NFL Now Plus is said to have “premium video content and features,” but no statements were made on what that would entail. The NFL Now Plus will be subscription based and have a monthly fee—the fee has not yet been disclosed. The app will be available on iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8, Xbox One, and other various devices.
