Case Made To Restore Felons Voting Rights

eric holderAttorney General, Eric Holder, wants to repeal laws which prohibit ex-felons from voting after being released from prison. He feels that prohibiting ex-felons from obtaining their rights will increase the chance that they will commit repeated crimes. The restrictions are thought of as unnecessary and counterproductive. An estimated 5.8 million Americans can’t vote today because of previous felony convictions and Eric Holder wants to change that.
