Gmail App Notifies Users When You Open Their Email

Gmail_IconYour days of ignoring emails might be over.  Streak for Google Chrome has a feature that notifies its users when an email they’ve sent has been read by its receiver.  Once installed, the Gmail user will also be able to see the time that the email was opened.  The recipient of the email does not need to have Streak for the user to track the email.  It is said to work similar to the iMessage and Facebook Message read receipts, as well as BBM notifications.
