According to CNN Money, popular beer companies, Heineken and Sam Adams, have pulled out of the annual St. Patty’s Day parades over discrimination of the LBGT community. Sam Adams pulled out of the Boston parade which takes place on Saturday. Heineken pulled out of the New York parade which takes place this Monday. Apparently in both Boston and New York, the LBGT community is not allowed to display their orientation which is what resulted in both beer companies removal.
“We believe in equality for all,” a Heineken Spokesman stated.
How do you feel about the actions made by these beer companies? Are they suitable or is it a little too far?
