Almost similar to a George Bush like fashion, Hilary Clinton was the victim of a crazy audience viewer yesterday while giving her speech in Las Vegas. The New York Senator, who has been traveling giving speeches for Democratic key notes, was surprised and composed when she had learned a shoe was thrown at her.

— “Is that somebody throwing something at me?” Clinton said after the object flew past her on the stage at the Mandalay Bay resort. “Is that part of Cirque de Soleil?”
“My goodness, I didn’t know that solid waste management was so controversial,” Clinton laughed. “Thank goodness she didn’t play softball like I did.” —
Some of the attendants at the event claimed the thrower of the shoes walked up to a rope barrier (sixth row), threw the shoe at the stage and quickly turned away with her hands in the air. Immediately after her actions, security guards apprehended her. Federal charges will be applied.
The actions yesterday are reminiscent of the 2008 incident of an Iraqi journalist throwing two shoes at the former president, George Bush.
What do you think about this situation, why is it becoming a trend to heckle or disrupt one’s speeches in today’s present society?
