Tonight a great match up occurred between the returning champs, Miami Heat and the veteran San Antonio Spurs who faced off in the Alamo city in Texas. During the first half of the basketball game both teams were evenly matched leaving for the locker at SA 54 & Miami 49. In the start of the third quarter, veterans Dwayne Wade and Ray Allen stepped up big time for Miami Heat. However, in the second half, the veteran Spurs went on a 31-9 run to defeat the Miami 110 to 95. A notable problem in Game 1 was that the air conditioning was off in the AT&T center. Though the Spurs did not have a problem playing in this condition, Lebron James had to come out late in the 4th quarter due to leg cramps. Nevertheless, it was a great match up to watch. We look forward to seeing how the rest of this series will play out.
