MNEK, 19-year-old producer/singer/songwriter-extraordinaire, hails from London with quite the exceptional talent. While he’s already made waves this year as the vocal portion of Gorgon City’s fantastic deep-house cut “Ready For Your Love“, and wrote last year’s summer UK anthem in “Need U (100%)“, Uzoechi Osisioma Emenike will not stop until he takes over the world he’s a household name. He recently released his evocative, slow-burning dance single “Wrote Song About You” which was flipped into a scintillatingly funky version of itself by the masterful Kaytranada. MNEK also lent his talents to XYconstant’s remix of Disclosure’s “White Noise”, a beautifully distorted edit of the original that’s probably been integrated into countless DJ Sets across Europe since last summer.
