50 days after the death of 18 year old Mike Brown, civil unrest has been growing in the local community of Ferguson, Missouri. While most of the protests have been conducted in a civilized manner, today we bring you the latest report of a Ferguson Police Officer shot while on duty!
According to CNN, the officer was shot in the arm while patrolling near a Ferguson community center. This incident comes a day after police Chief Thomas Jackson apologized to Mike Brown’s family about the lost of the African American male. Furthermore, it comes at a pivotal time in which the Police Chief recently made public his refusal to resign from St. Louis County.
While it has been reported that multiple police officers are now on the scene, the suspect is still at large.
