While one of the year’s biggest disappointments had to be BenZel‘s reveal that the two weren’t actually a pair of prodigious Japanese schoolgirls, the real duo of Benny Blanco and Two Inch Punch have together proven to be a fun and adept grouping of producers. Their newest song, “Touch”, features one of pop’s fastest rising stars in Ryn Weaver, packing a surprisingly potent combo of bounce and bass. Weaver’s voice is distorted and stretched over a flurry of synths, but vocally still sounds just as strong as fans have to come to expect from her. BenZel’s Men EP is out tomorrow, November 10, through PMR Records/Friends Keep Secrets. And, in case you missed it, Cashmere Cat’s remix of Ryn Weaver’s “Octahate” has also been provided below. Enjoy.
