Two days ago a tragic story surfaced after 132 children at an elementary school were massacred by Pakistani Taliban militants in Peshawar, Pakistan. The attacks, claimed by a group called TTP, were said to have been in retaliation of the Pakistani government targeting “select families” (assuming these were families of the taliban group). According CBC News, the militant group has deemed this attack as “the perfect revenge”. And though experts have hypothesized that the Pakistani government might back away after this brutal attack, the Pakistani government has now stated that this “war” will continue in light of the recent attack against innocent children.
