Sacramento native Chelsea Wolfe is set to release her next full length project later this summer, and today offered up her devastating new single “Carrion Flowers”. Sounding like an industrialized force of nature, the song is post-apocalyptic and menacing, driven by earth-rattling riffs and syncopated drums as Wolfe’s voice somehow manages to keep above the fray, careful to not get swallowed whole.
Epic queen of darkness vibes run rampant throughout, as fans get another glimpse of what to expect on Abyss, out on August 7 via Sargent House. You can pre-order the album here.
