19 Year Old Invents Ocean Cleanup Array

Boyan-1-537x35819 year old Dutch designer Boyan Slat invents the ‘Ocean Cleanup Array,’ a system created to clean 7,250,000 tons (42%) of plastic pollution from the world’s oceans. Boyan claims that a single array could remove half of the plastic in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch in just 10 years. Check out the videos below and visit here for more information on the project.
