Hawaii Becomes First State To Register Gun Owners With FBI Database

In the midst of the daily tragedies stemming from domestic gun violence many people have turned to community leaders and legislators for help. Well, it’s very apparent that some legislators lead by example because David Ige (Governor of Hawaii) wasted no time in which  a historic move was made last Thursday night. According to Reuters, Hawaii became the first state to make mandatory for all gun owners to be registered under an FBI database that tracks any arrest made within the United States.

Fundamentally speaking this bill will suffice most liberals, while most conservatives would argue that the bill is extreme and a violation of the American citizen’s privacy. What do you personally think about this historical bill passed? Should other states follow this trend? Let us know why or why not below!
