Free Admission At Lone Star Flight Museum On MLK Day [Houston, TX]

As the wealth gap in the U.S. continues to widen when discussing black & latino families versus white families (per household), most data shows wealth,  employment and job creation is a direct reflection of education or lack thereof. STEM (science, tech, engineering and math) is one of the lesser pursued careers and degrees for minorities, however, programs backed by the Lone Star Flight Museum are helping to bridge that cap in communities like Houston, Texas. Tomorrow, the museum will be open for free admission for all kids. On a day where most kids have the day off, this is a great way to explore a kid’s curiosity into learning more about STEM and aviation.
