While Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro believes NGO groups are responsible for the current destruction of the Amazon rainforest, many believe his recent speech and call of action for Brazilian troops is merely Smoke & Mirrors.
In recent months earlier this year, native tribes of the Amazon won a lawsuit against major oil drilling companies. However, not even a year later we have significant fire destruction that will not only affect South America’s climate, but the global climate! Scientist have deemed the Amazon rainforest as “Earth’s lungs”, therefore, now that we have inflamed lungs it’s only a matter of time before the Earth responds from yet another form of destruction caused by humans.
