Within the first 30 minutes after waking up in the morning, drinking a protein shake can be very beneficial to one’s health. Most of the time I’ll make a shake before I go to bed. This way, in the morning I can go to my refrigerator and slam back my protein shake as a substitute for my breakfast meal. This method is much easier than attempting to make a sub-par shake in the midst of waking up. Making a protein shake as apart of your daily routine should improve your metabolism in a very short period of time. Below are 5 simple ways one can naturally boost their metabolism.
1. “Don’t Starve Yourself”– This is by far the worst thing one can do to themselves. Make sure that you’re consuming at least 1,200 calories a day (women), 1,500 calories (men).
2. “Eat Regularly”– Consuming regular meals and healthy snacks can sustain one’s metabolism throughout the day, especially fruits and nuts. (Eat at least 4-5 times per day)
3. “Coffee”– Drinking a cup of coffee with about 150 mg of caffeine is often enough for you to benefit from metabolic effects.
4. “Chili Peppers”– Adding a bit of spice to your meals help reduce belly fat and can also act as an appetite suppressant.
5. “Green Tea”– Contains a type of antioxidant which has been shown in studies to reduce body weight and waist circumference. Green tea is also packed with cancer-fighting compounds that can benefit anyones diet, regardless of any age.
