Wow, yet another story of police brutality! Today we have another unfortunate story of a man, Eric Garner (43), being accused of selling untaxed cigarettes in Staten Island, New York. Garner and the man recording the video Ramsey Orta (22), both told police several times that Eric Garner was breaking up a fight. However, the New York cops did not want to hear Garner out. While the reports of Garner breaking up a fight are still pending, one thing does remain certain; Eric Garner is dead! The 400 pound man had a history of Asthma and when restrained and slammed to the ground (while being choked), Garner had an Asthma Attack and died on the scene! The video below clearly shows Garner repeatedly stating ” I can’t breathe”, however, the cops ignored Garner’s cry until matters were too late. Eric Garner leaves behind 4 kids and his wife. It’s becoming more prevalent to see police brutality, but it is rare to see someone die on the scene. Another unfortunate situation for a young man, a father, and a husband. We wonder what the repercussions will be for the police officers who apprehended Garner? We’ll keep you updated on this tragic story!
