Political & culture activist, Ai Weiwei has just been featured on TIMES for his “Most Influential Art” projects. Born in 1957, the Beijing, China native has been known to voice his opposition of a corrupt government and governmental cover-ups. Weiwei’s contemporary art skills have led him into various ventures such as architecture, sculpture, curating, photography, film, and music. In fact, for the 2008 Olympics (held in Beijing), Ai Weiwei teamed up with Swiss architects to help consult the artistic styles of the Beijing Stadium.
