Death Toll Reaches 800 Due To Indian Heat Wave (122 F)

A sweltering Heat Wave sweeping through Southern India has left 800 dead after temperatures neared 122 F. Many Indians are forced to work in these extreme conditions to provide for their family. In fact, many are without transportation and left to walk or ride bikes for their daily commute to work.

Health officials have advised residents to stay indoors and drink plenty of fluids, however, this doesn’t seem to be a plausible option for people who rely heavily on their work for a source of income. For more information check out BBC.
