In the latest strategic move for the telecommunications giant, Verizon recently agreed to acquire Yahoo’s database for $4.8 Billion. This is a major follow up pending the acquisition of AOL back in 2015 for $4.4 Billion. Needless to say this a power move due to the massive amount of traffic both Yahoo and AOL get from subscribers, email holders, or daily audiences surfing the web for content. Likewise, Verizon hopes to integrate more digital ads and site advertisements to continue gaining more business from cell phone, internet and cable networks.
