A few years ago we posted an article entitled Darkest Material On Earth Repels Water Molecules. In this post we embedded a video that shows just how dark the Vantablack material is. Vantablack is a hydrophobic (water repellant) substance made of nanotubes that traps light (instead of reflects it, similar to that of a black hole).
For the Winter Olympics, the “World’s Darkest Building” was created for presentation by world renowned architect Asif Khan.
