Last year Akon announced that he would had plans to begin a 10 year project to build his own city in Senegal. Along with renewable energy, the city is said to be equipped with blockchain technology Akoin (official White paper said to release February 2020). A few days ago, the music icon and producer tweeted that deal was finalized to commence moving forward.
