During a campaign rally, former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot by a 40 year old man who created a homemade gun made out of steel pipes. Shinzo Abe later succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The assassination comes as a shock for many worldwide. Shinzo has been praised by both his country and the world for his past leadership success and economic growth. Moreover, Japan is a country praised for it’s rare gun violence and deaths.
More details are still to come as to why a former Japanese soldier took Shinzo’s life away. However, the suspect has been apprehended and will be dealt with accordingly.
