Meet Brandon Drenon, New York’s Next Major Fitness Trainer


Brandon Drenon is a male model & fitness trainer who is quickly having a huge impact in America’s largest city;  New York, New York. The Houston native, and University of Texas alumnus is the creator of his fitness training company Young Fit Black Guy (YFBG). As a past NCAA National qualifier for shot-put and discus, Brandon has always been known to surround himself with great dieting and a healthy fitness lifestyle. As a result, Brandon is now showcasing his knowledge via his company, YFBG on Facebook and Instagram.

Pre-workout Smoothie


1) 1/2 avocado
2) 1C non fat Greek yogurt
3) 1 kiwi
4) 1 banana
5) 1.5C almond milk
6) small handful of spinach

High Protein Egg Scramble

1) 6oz 90% lean ground sirloin
2) 4 egg whites
3) 1/4C dry quinoa
4) 2/3 cup low sodium vegetable broth
5) 1/4 onion
6) 1T chopped thyme
7) salt & pepper

“Bring the soup broth to a boil, add the quinoa, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook for 10 – 15 minutes. Season the sirloin with the chopped thyme and salt and pepper. Place it into a skillet with the diced onions. Once the meat is finished, put it into your serving bowl. Cook the eggs separately in the same skillet to scoop up the remaining flavor from the previously cooked sirloin. Combine the eggs and quinoa to the sirloin in a bowl, stir, and enjoy.”

1) two handfuls of spinach
2) 1/4 cup red quinoa
3) 2 T of golden raisins
4) 6 – 8 Brazil nuts
