The 2nd Presidential Debate [Full Recap]

Despite the presidential debate taking place only 8 Miles away from Ferguson, Missouri (location of Michael Brown’s death/riots), both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump didn’t face any questions concerning police brutality or the current racial tension plaguing our nation. Instead, both candidates were posed with various questions ranging from foreign policy, to immigration, and of course the usual discussion about taxes. And while all of these topics are important, none of the topics discussed posed such an imminent threat such as the current police brutalities occurring daily. In fact, it’s pretty clear that both candidates are using rhetoric to appeal to each of their target audiences. However, despite preconceived biases I hope the American public views how both candidates have conducted themselves thus far and will possibly be a representation of the United States for the next four years.
