A few days ago, the world witnessed another example of current race relations in America. And though many people were surprised by the collective union of white supremacist (nazis, KKK, etc.) rallying on the campus of University of Virginia this past weekend, many (such as ourselves at POS) were not. This country, unfortunately, has had a long history of racial injustices. The non-indictments of cops killing unarmed citizens as well as the last presidential election are enough to serve as constant reminders of racial injustices in present day America. Therefore, the fact that there exist a large support group that manifest supremacist notions isn’t farfetched at all.
