Cryptocurrency is time sensitive. Due to the fundamental principles of most cryptocurrencies being deflationary, early investors have leverage and even less risk than investors and later adopters of popular cryptocurrencies.
In recent news publicly traded Microstrategy and CEO Michael Saylor announced that they had purchased $250 M worth of Bitcoin.
“This investment reflects our belief that bitcoin, as the world’s most widely adopted cryptocurrency, is a dependable store of value and an attractive investment asset with more long-term appreciation potential than holding cash,” said CEO Michael J. Saylor.”
This move is major one because it’s yet another foreshadowing of institutional money moving into the crypto-sphere. As a result, the growth and value of cryptocurrencies will be able to increase at a more rapid pace and adoption. Unfortunately, this may not be the best situation for a world of nonbelievers or uniformed citizens who do not yet understand cryptocurrency. For this reason, it’s imperative that more people understand the power and leverage cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum hold before it’s too late (literally).
